How one Instagram reel turned a local wine festival into an international phenomenon
“Are you here because a woman on Instagram told you to come?” – this was the opening gambit from my partner in wine to almost everyone we met at the Alma do Vinho festival last weekend in Alenquer, Portugal.
The answer (at least from every non-Portuguese person) was a resounding yes.
